Lo2-Rocking chair email

Hello, I am a student currently studying at UTC Sheffield and we would like to enquire about the use of your building for a day to use as a location for a short film.
This is a non-profit project, so we wouldn’t be using this location to earn money.
We would only need to film for a few hours and can do it earlier on in the day, so that we wouldn’t interrupt your business.
We would be filming between the 8th and the 13th of February, so could use the building on any of these days.

Thanks, Lewis Wright

We will decide what location we will use and state what type of lighting we will use

Lo2-Email for the casino

Dear Tony

I am emailing in order to make a request to record footage at your casino for a college piece. My team and I have discussed this location and decided it was suitable for the genre and narrative, however we do of course need your permission to use the area. In the footage there shall be no sight of the company’s logo or name.

Our team are all 16 years of age (as of sending this E-mail) but the actors we shall be using will all be over the age of 18 and we shall be under supervision from Arno van der Kraan.

At this moment in time we cannot give you exact times as to when the Casino shall be required, but it shall be between the 8th and 12th of February and shall of course be during closing times as to not affect the business

We are mature teenagers, and we shall be using a variety of expensive equipment so we hope that you shall be able to trust us in using this location respectively.

Yours sincerely,

Jai Van der Kraan

Kyle Fisher

Second email for actors

To whomever it may concern,

My name is Jai and I'm emailing you from the UTC Sheffield to ask your support in our college production. We are making a non-profit film trailer and are looking for three male actors to help us.

The first two of these actors would preferably be in their mid 20's to early 30's. These actors are need to portray the characters Kyle and James Fisher. Ethnicity or race is of no concern to us providing that the two actors are the same as the characters are brothers. Ideally, one of these would be a relatively stocky build and the other an average build.

The third character is our antagonist, preferably this actor would be 30+. Again ethnicity/race is of no concern to us but this actor should also be of a fairly stocky build.

We shall be shooting between the 8th and 13th February, mostly in the evening however we are currently awaiting a reply from one location which shall be recorded early in the morning.

Thank you for anyway in which you can support us in our college production

Yours,
Jai Van der Kraan
